Methodology

The partnership of the CareerGUIDE for Schools network operates in collaborative working-groups.

The working-groups include different-subject scientific experts, sharing the same interest in researching a specific aspect of career guidance. They focus on different sub thematic areas and work independently in a particular topic of career guidance. They meet and reflect to each other periodically, in order to combine and utilise knowledge and research evidence for producing the best of it.

There are three working groups, each one focusing on one of the following topics:

(1) Know about yourself (2) Know About
the Job Market
(3) Develop Yourself For
Your Career Path
Know about yourself Know About the Job Market Develop Yourself For Your Career Path

The internet and modern communication technology are utilised by the working groups in a way for serving both their communicational and working needs. The main tool of the network’s function is the CareerGUIDE for Schools Web Portal which accumulates information on the issue of career guidance from various European countries. The platform has been developed as an integrated communication tool providing direct access to communication, information and professional support.
